His Holiness was greeted by the local iwi and by the city's mayor Vicki Buck in the Square and welcomed in to ChristChurch Cathedral by the then Dean John Bluck. The video was fimed by Harry Ruffell.

Is there some unknown reason why all videos have such extremely bad picture quality? It really sucks because it really doesn't take much talent to set up a video camera properly and hit the record button and record a sitting person talking!
its 1989, you either were a movie studio that had hundreds of thousands of dollars to spend on a film camera to create HD level video for the cinema, or you were a normal person with a VHS camera that shot in 360p

This High Lama was born in New Zealand undoubtedly because of the similarly inclined to peace Moriori The Moriori are the Indigenous People of New Zealand. very sht pronunciation. i lived on almorah for a year. wish i didn't know this. turns out he was another colonial land stealer. no suprises. went south to fight my people. interesting history. but the pronunciation is gross.
